My "Art for the Resistance" collection began with abstract color collages on paper using milkweed as subject. It included original art, digital prints and note cards. After the "No Kings" rally in March of 2026, I added that piece to the collection.
This is a 24 x 16 digital print on canvas of the "No Kings" 36 x 24 original.

The back story: During Metro Surge Minnesotans did lots of small things. Collecting donations, delivering donations, making whistles, making signs, collecting supplies for children too afraid to go to school. Calling legislators, donating money and spreading the word. ONE SMALL THING.
In Feb of 2026, I went to the sites of Renee Good and Alex Pretti’s deaths. I picked up some dried milkweed from the snow and brought it back to my studio.
I was inspired by the pollinator gardeners who plant one small thing to help the butterflies, bees and the world, and so I continue to paint milkweed.
A 25% donation made for each pieces sold. Lots of folks doing one small thing.
