I grew up in Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Studio Art. After serving two years in the Peace Corps in West Africa, I returned to Minneapolis to work in television graphics, advertising and graphic design.

I have studied with Kim English, Peggy Kroll Roberts, Cheri Christensen, Carol Marine, Anne Blair Brown, Dan McCaw and Maggie Siner. I travel and paint in the U.S. and Europe, most recently in Italy, France and the Czech Republic, and teach a painting workshop in the Texas Hill Country at Wenmohs Ranch.

I have a studio in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District.

My work has been featured in American Art Collector and Southwest Art magazines and am represented by five galleries across the country.
