Springtime in the Studio!

April brings some new work to the studio. First Thursday, April 4 from 5-9. Stop and see what I've been working on. New dresses and garments, varnish and wet paint are drying.

Second Saturday, April 13, noon to 6 pm.... I have a special guest, Suzanne Kosmalski will have photos from her MN State Arts Board Project, Landscapes of Memory: The Dakota War..."a series of color photographs, exploring landscapes marked by battles of the Dakota Indian War."

It's been a good year. Nancy and Pamela from Gardner Colby Gallery in Naples, FL contacted me and chose seven paintings last week. The first box is on it's way and I am waiting for some new frames for the rest.

Gardner Colby has always been on my "bookmark" list because one of my all-time favorite painters Kim English is also there, so I am doubly thrilled to be there.

Laylon contacted me after seeing my work in the June issue of American Art Collector magazine. The second box of art is almost there and she's already had interest from her collectors! Thank you, Laylon!

The Vault Gallery was established in 1990 with the goal of representing the fine artists on the Central Coast of California. The gallery strives to move in a direction away from the 'main stream' commercial art and has flourished as a result.

The Vault now represents internationally renowned artists many of whom have moved to the Cambria area and strives to exhibit exciting art that challenges both the intellect and the senses.

Owner Laylon has consulted with clients for over thirty years to bring these outstanding artists into collections around the world.

The Vault Gallery is located in Cambria, CA off Hwy.1 near Hearst Castle; halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco on the Central Coast of California.

Just Opened Etsy Shop!

I have just started an Etsy Shop. It seemed the perfect spot for my new line of cards. They are sold in sets of 5. I've put together some sets, but they can mix and match.

I have also posted some of my "Orphan Art." Those are sketches, studies, small paintings, figures studies, travel pieces... all are like orphans looking for a good home! Most are oils, some acrylic, some framed, many not. Please visit.

I've been working on large and small dress pieces....some small still lifes and furry creature studies ( Hairy Potter).

Also planning for Texas workshop. New today–store front window still life and demo at Dana's in Edina in Feb..."Where Art Meets 50th & France."
